This is my blog. Mostly it is a place to share the things that I have been up to with my family and friends. I also use it to remind myself of what I have done and where I have been - sort of like a surrogate online memory...

How to eat Weetabix
The subject of an office conversation, I felt the need to take some photos with my camera phone to explain exactly what the procedure is:
Step 1: Place two Weetabix in a bowl.
Step 2: Take Weetabix in bowl to dining table and prepare secondary bowl.
Step 3: Transfer one Weetabix to the secondary bowl.
Step 4: Add optimum amount of milk - just enough to soak right through, but not enough to make the Weetabix soggy.
Step 5: Add second Weetabix to bowl.
Step 6: Add milk as before and eat.
Step 7: Congratulations! You have finished your Weetabix. There is no need to clean out the secondary bowl as no self-respecting harmful germ would eat a Weetabix. Do remember to clean out the primary bowl asap as Weetabix is like glue when it dries.

I'm a Manchester ex-pat and have trouble finding Weetabix here in the U.S., let alone eating it. Anyway, I now have a source (made in Canada) -- just finished my box this morning. I usually have three at a time, but I suppose your technique can be adapted to cope. I'm trying to teach my teenage sons the art of Weetabix. Must get another box. Thanks for the tip.
i`m scottish an we don't have bowls at craigievar so i shall be eating mine on the floor
I really am Crazy Howie and I do not recall writing that comment about eating Weetabix at Craigievar. All I know about Weetabix is that if you leave it in your bowl to set, then it resembles concrete.
